Fred Rykowski started this business 80 years ago with one rule: do the job right the first time, treat people fairly, and answer the phone when it rings. Eight decades later, that's still how we operate.
Today the company is run as a true family business — three generations deep. Fred still works most jobs. His sons — Mickey and Max Jr. — handle the rest. No dispatcher, no national 800 number, no rotating contractors.
